Which matches are played on which days during the Atlanta Tennis Championships?

  • Qualifying is scheduled for July 17-18. 
  • The early rounds are scheduled for July 19-22. 
  • Quarterfinals are scheduled for July 23, semifinals for July 24 and finals for July 25. Click to see the schedule.

Are tickets available?

Tickets currently are available for every session of the tournament, including our Premium Box Seats and Champagne Tables.

Where will my seat be?

If you purchase your tickets online, you will be able to select your seats immediately. If you are interested in purchasing premium box seats, you may select your seats from the remaining inventory at time of purchase.

Where do I park?

Parking is provided directly across the street from the site. Premium Box Seats ticket holders will receive a VIP parking pass. Daily tickets and packages will park in the general parking lot.

Where is the Atlanta Athletic Club Tennis Center located?

The Atlanta Athletic Club is located at 1930 Bobby Jones Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097, 23 miles northeast of Atlanta.

When's the best day or session to attend?

Every fan finds a different day to his or her liking. As the week progresses, the excitement builds as the field narrows and the players fight to win the coveted titles.

When do the gates and ticket box office open?

The gates and ticket box office usually open one hour prior to the session start time.

Can I get housing during the tournament?

What food or beverages are permitted to be brought onto the grounds of the Atlanta Athletic Club?

No food or beverages are allowed to be brought onto the grounds except for 20-ounce (or smaller) water bottles (one per person), provided they are clear and made of plastic. Glass bottles, cans, coolers, ice chests, thermoses and picnic baskets are not permitted.

What concessions are available?

Concessions are available at the tournament and include a wide variety of food, drinks and alcoholic beverages.

What is not allowed at the tournament?

Sealed packages of any kind
Briefcases
Hard coolers or like containers
Glass bottles or cans
Aerosol cans or noisemaking devices
Alcoholic beverages
Umbrellas
Commercial photographic or video cameras or recording devices
Computers or Laptops
Food (except for medical dietary or infant purposes)
Weapons (regardless of permit)
Pets (unless a service animal)
Flags, banners, or signs, laser pointing devices, tennis racquets, bicycles, scooters of any type, in-line skates, roller skates, skateboards, and any other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by the management of the Atlanta Tennis Championships, in its sole discretion.

What is the policy on betting?

At no time may any person, directly or indirectly, wager on tennis matches while at the tournament site. Allowing betting companies, directly or through a third party, to accept any tennis wagers (electronically or otherwise) at the tournament site or any tournament related event is prohibited.

Is the tournament televised?

TICKETS

When do I get my tickets?

Daily grandstand tickets and packages will be shipped at the beginning of June. Premium ticket holders will receive their tickets at the end of June or beginning of July.

When will my ticket purchase appear on my credit card?

In most cases, your ticket purchase will appear on your next credit card statement.

Does my child need a ticket?

Children over the age of 12 months require a ticket.

Will one ticket allow me to watch both the afternoon and evening sessions?

No. You will need a ticket to attend each session.

What happens if it rains?

If session is cancelled after one match on Stadium Court is completed, no exchanges or refunds will be made. If session is cancelled without the completion of one match on Stadium Court, ticket holder is entitled to a ticket to the same session of the tournament the following year. Tables, box seats and series tickets will not be exchanged.

Do you offer discounts?

We are offering group discounts. Purchases of 10 or more tickets receive 30% off plus one free ticket.
USTA Members who purchase tickets for the USTA Member Appreciation Day (Friday, July 23 day session) receive 20% off. Use promotion code 2010USTAATL.

When are ball persons tryouts?

Tryouts for ball persons are generally in mid-June. A child must be at least 13 to be a ball person. Click here to register and to get more information.

PLAYERS / DRAWS / MATCH SCHEDULING

How is the draw made?

The draw is made the same way at every tournament. First, the seeds (the highest-ranked players in the draw) are placed in the draw (No. 1 on the first line, No. 2 on the last line and then the others in alternating order on pre-determined lines). Once the seeds are in place, the other players are drawn at random and placed on the empty lines -- starting at the top and going down the draw until it is filled.

How is the schedule made?

The schedule is made with input from the ATP World Tour, the players, television and the tournament. The tournament makes requests based on what it feels is in the best interest of the fans.

When is the schedule made?

During each tournament, the schedule is made daily and usually is available around 8 p.m. It is then posted on this web site and is made immediately available to the Tournament Office, the media, etc.

Can you tell me now when a particular player will play?

No. In a single elimination tournament, only one player advances. Since no one knows who will win or lose, no one knows who will play when.

Can I watch matches on other courts?

When you buy a ticket, you buy a reserved seat on Stadium Court. You are also free to watch matches on other courts.

On how many courts are matches played?

Depending on the day, matches may be played on up to three courts.

Can I watch players practice? How do I know who's practicing when and where?

Some courts at the Atlanta Athletic Club were built specifically as practice courts. Watching practice has become a real fan favorite because fans can get so close to the stars and see them in a relaxed environment.
